If 'Les Miserables' wins best picture at the 85th Academy Awards ceremony on Feb. 24, it will join a rather exclusive club of 10 other musicals that have taken Oscar's most coveted prize. If the adaptation of the long-running stage production has anything in common with these other titles, it is a signature song, 'I Dreamed a Dream' in the case of 'Les Mis,' that often becomes a standard.
